As soon as possible (12 months is ideal), as my schedule is often booked out for the popular wedding months, 8-10 months in advance. Fabrics are often in limited supply so must be ordered early. People’s plans do change though, so if your wedding is only 4-6 months away, do send me an email and I can confirm if it is possible
The start date depends on the complexity of the job and will range from 5 months for a complex beaded gown to 10 weeks for a dress without a lot of intricate hand work.
You will have a final fitting to ensure a perfect fit around a week out from your wedding, with the dress usually collected 3-5 days prior to the day.
Having a dress made allows for size adjustments to be made during the making process.
