The made to measure process
Most brides find the process of seeing their dress design evolve at each fitting a really exciting part of planning a wedding.
Every gown begins with a detailed consultation to finalise the design and a start date is set depending on the complexity of the job and the bride’s location.
The process begins with me taking your measurements, and then each gown requires at least 5 fittings, beginning with a calico toile. At each fitting you will have the opportunity to see what it looks like and make any changes to necklines, skirt silhouette and of course the fit is adjusted to your body shape. The dress is roughly together by the third fitting, and the following fittings are used to refine details and finesse the gown to the Bride’s requirements.
